Supermarket Admin Manager
Our client a large Supermarket Group is looking for an experienced Supermarket Admin Manager to join their team in Ballito. We would also look at Admin Managers from Cash and Carry stores. Minimum requirements for the position:
1. Minimum 2 years’ experience as Admin Manager for a Supermarket/Cash and Carry is essential.
2. Matric or Grade12
3. Formal or on the job training as Admin Manager for a Supermarket/Cash and Carry
4. Clear Criminal and Credit record.
Some of your duties but not limited to:
1. All administrative duties for Receiving (Back Admin) and the Store (Front Admin)
2. Manage all administrative procedures and systems.
3. Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of the stockroom and back up areas with regards to cleanliness, stock rotation (FIFO), expiry and damage checks, merchandising control and categorization.
4. Ensure the receiving and dispatching of stock are done according to the company rules and regulations.
5. Direct activities and assumes responsibility for sales and profit by supervising all functions related to customer service, cash, stock and employee control of the front and back end.
6. Ensure the safe and secure daily operation of the cash office, including the banking function.
7. Monitoring the accuracy of the stock ledger by ensuring capturing, returning and waste capturing of stock is done timeously.
8. Provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
9. Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation. Oversee facilities services and maintenance.
