Job Summary
Junior Payroll Administrator required for a reputable retail company based in East London, Eastern Cape
Requirements:
- Payroll qualification (certificate or diploma) is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in VIP Premier payroll software.
- Experience with clocking systems
- Strong Excel skills (intermediate level or higher), including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
- Solid understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of payroll experience in a similar role
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage payroll using VIP Premier software.
- Accurately calculate employee salaries, deductions, and overtime.
- Oversee and manage the clocking system to ensure accurate tracking of hours worked.
- Reconcile payroll data and prepare monthly payroll reports.
- Handle employee queries regarding payroll and timesheets.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and company policies regarding payroll and benefits.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure storage of employee data.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure alignment on employee compensation and benefits
