Job Summary
Job Description:
The individual will be a Call Centre Agent, part of a team of Call Centre Agents that:
- Sell insurance products telephonically to potential policyholders by reading from an approved script,
- Utilise a call center dialer to manage lead follow-up
- Strive to achieve insurance policy sales and campaign targets
- Assist policyholders with policy administration
- Follow up on policyholders who have not paid their premiums
- Ensure excellent customer service and fair treatment of policyholders
- Adherence to quality, training and compliance processes
- Accurately recording policy sales and maintaining policyholder information
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Meeting the Regulatory Fit and Proper requirements
- Advantageous:
- Additional South African Languages
- Sales, Marketing, or Insurance Diploma/Degree
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- FAIS Regulatory Exam (RE5) for Representatives
Ideal Experience:
- 2 years + Call Centre experience, and/or
- 2 years + Insurance sales / Financial Services experience
Competencies:
- Proficient in English
- Good communication and conflict management skills
- Attention to detail
- Computer Literate in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge and understanding of Insurance Legislation and Regulation (advantageous)
- Self-motivated, committed and willing to learn
- Work under pressure in a target-orientated environment
- Problem-solving skills
