Maintenance Fitter – Mining (Marble Hall, Limpopo)
A well-established mining operation based in Marble Hall, Limpopo is urgently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their on-site maintenance team.
This is a full-time, permanent role requiring relocation.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct mechanical installations and commissioning of motors, gearboxes, bearings, pulleys, belts, crushers, crusher components, chutes, etc.

Perform precision alignment and maintenance on rotating equipment including crushers and a grinding mill.

Carry out breakdown support and preventative maintenance across the plant.

Fabricate or assist in minor fabrication (frames, guards, chutes) and welding as needed.

Replace bearings, shafts, couplings, and conduct mechanical fault-finding and repairs.

Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of welders, boilermakers, and electricians.

Guide and oversee an assistant as the sole fitter on site — experience and independence are essential.
Requirements:

Qualified Fitter with a recognized trade certificate.

Proven experience working on crushing and screening plants (milling plant experience is a strong advantage).

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems used in mining environments.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Willingness to relocate to Marble Hall.
Salary:

CTC: R26 000 – R32 000, depending on experience.
