Job Summary
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, financially focussed Project Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is instrumental in supporting various client projects by assisting with structure, data collection, data analysis, and reporting on Age Receivables and Age Payables, amongst other financial metrics. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and an understanding of project management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support on client projects in planning, executing, and closing projects effectively.
- Report on and manage age receivables and age payables, amongst other financial metrics.
- Assist in structuring project documentation and maintaining accurate project records.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to provide insights for project teams.
- Prepare and present clear, concise reports on project progress and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Monitor project timelines and help identify potential risks or roadblocks.
- Assist in developing project management tools and templates as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in project support or a similar role.
- Finance understanding.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new software and project management tools.
- Familiarity with compliance, legal, and risk management concepts (not required but a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
