Job Summary
To manage the production environment with the focus on people leadership, maximizing productivity and revenue generation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing team strategies, and fostering a high-energy environment to meet and exceed sales targets. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales, with the specialism in the following areas: Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of telesales representatives, providing guidance and support to enhance performance. Build positive and productive relationships with all subordinates Create a high performance culture through focused incentives, supported with celebration and regular communication Create a culture of continuous improvement to drive effectiveness and efficiencies Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals. Plan, Direct, Supervise and Co-ordinate activities of direct reports Utilise info and reports to drive performance, identify improvements and track trends over time Performance Monitoring: Establish and communicate KPIs to all stakeholders on a monthly basis, in order to achieve business objectives Set KPIs in accordance with contractual & client expectations Analyse sales metrics and KPIs to identify trends and areas of improvement; provide regular reports to senior management. Constantly review current production data, and take appropriate action Align sales strategies with the campaign targets to ensure objectives are achieved Manage campaign budget by monitoring staff headcount, incentive spend, data usage, etc. Manage budget, income, expenditure, cost, profit, etc. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to equip team members with the skills and knowledge necessary for success. Work closely with L&D to formulate training plans for the sales team with the focus on agent development, to enhance work performance and production levels Carry out one-on-one and group coaching sessions to assist workforce with their personal development areas with the intention of building team members into target achievers Analyse people and data trends on an on-going basis to address key points by implementing resolutions and training programmes Collaboration: Work closely with all functional teams to align sales efforts with company objectives Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Assist to drive resolution in escalated complaints and queries Ensure workforce is delivering complete customer satisfaction through all forms of engagements Recruitment: Participate in the recruitment process to build a high-performing telesales team. Manage campaign resourcing to meet production requirements and increase revenue, by working closely with Recruitment to ensure headcount is always on target Minimum Requirements and Experience: Matric (Diploma or Degree advantageous) Minimum 2-3 years experience managing a team of sales agents Proven experience in telesales or sales management, preferably in Telecommunications Experience must include B2B sales Experience with closing medium to large size business deals Experience with negotiating deals at exec level in the clients environment Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to analyse data and develop actionable insights. Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving targets.
