Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales Manager , who's going to act as main contact to customers, manages the activities of multiple large customer accounts and a defined specific market segment. Among these are the strategic development of key accounts, the management of all commercial issues, and the ensure that the customer receives high quality service and products while presenting negotiating terms of sales. University degree in Business Administration or equivalent field of education. 4+ years of relevant work experience in the aftermarket sector. Knowledge of Mann Hummel Product range as well as customer´s business. Business acumen, customer orientation, organization and coordination skills, self-initiative and ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of the SADC market and Flexible to travel a lot in and out of South Africa. Leadership skills, conflict management, communication skills. MS office and SAP Sales tools. Manage the day-to-day sales activities for a group of customers to maintain long term relationships with them. Identify sales opportunities and implement the defined sales strategies for the specific key account or customers to achieve revenue targets and service goals. Conduct contract negotiations in cooperation with the legal department and negotiate the sale prices and conditions with the key account based on costs and market situation and regional pricing strategy, and this with collaboration with the Manager Sales. Participate in customer discussions for products and prepare customer offers in collaboration with the Manager Sales, examine closely customer requirements as regards all technical aspects, time and budget. Visit new and existing customers, consult them on all market-relevant products, provide information on new products that could fit customers´ business needs, conduct product trainings/workshops, undertaking the role of consultant through analytic tools, prepare presentations. Monitoring the sales performance of customers such as Turnover, Forecasting and Receivables while receiving and giving feedback on critical issues, directing customers to achieve their goals. Define, analyze and evaluate customer needs and technical feasibility of customer requirements as well as deadlines and costs in the quotation phase. Provide quotation to customers. Support the key account or customers in the development of growth strategies, pricing strategies, marketing programs, etc. to ensure optimal market performance and competitiveness. Consult the key account or customers on all market-relevant and technical aspects of products, provide information on new products and services that could fit into customer´s business needs, conduct product trainings/workshops, prepare presentations and reports. Process the customer complaints/product returns Oversee sales support activities such as sales administration, Sales Representative, BDEs, customer service, invoicing, and credit and collections to ensure that customer orders are processed, dispatched, invoiced, and paid accurately and on time. Participate in industry fairs, customer fairs and exhibitions to ensure market competitiveness for the brand. Providing monthly sales forecasts and making plans with the logistics team. Report all customer visits and activities into CRM systems. Forecast customer/market trends for forward planning and oversee competitors´ activities in the specific market to ensure market transparency and competitiveness. Initiate marketing events in collaboration with the Marketing/product department. Any additional projects/tasks from the management, as required. Work closely with Product Management, Marketing, Logistic and Business Development Teams to over-achieve customer and market expectations. Serve as a liaison between customers and the departments as well as main point of service for customers.
