Job Summary
Role Description The Branch Sales Manager is responsible for the sales performance and efficient daily operation of a branch, including operations, sales, customer service, security and safety. To ensure that all branch operations are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures, enforce the implementation of these either directly or through appropriate supervision Ensures that the branch office is properly staffed, assists in the selection of new personnel as appropriate and ensures that all customer service personnel are adequately trained both with respect to product knowledge and selling techniques to meet customer service needs as well as sales objectives. Organizes, schedules, and distributes work among assigned personnel and provides leadership, training, and supervision to ensure proper proficient executions of these tasks to meet the organizations goals. Reviews employees performance throughout the probationary period and on an annual basis thereafter. Actively identify own and branch employee training needs as well as Identifying and developing branch staff for possible future promotion. Efficiently dealing with people management issues, as and when they arise. Build a high-performing, motivated, and cohesive team environment. Experience Three to five years branch management/sales management/business development experience with knowledge in data networking equipment preferred. Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices. A proven track record demonstrating ability to consistently meet sales targets, with contactable references. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra in order to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, profits, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Must be results driven and customer focused. Strong communication, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills to effectively uncover and resolve complex customer and employee issues.
