Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resource Practitioner to join their team in the food production industry based in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and regulations, as well as a passion for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The HR Practitioner will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR functions within the organization, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Oversee the full cycle of recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to employees to drive performance improvements.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR roles within the food production industry.
- Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information and sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
