Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Practitioner to join their team in the steel industry in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of human resource management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement human resource policies and procedures
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including conducting interviews and making hiring decisions
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Manage and administer employee benefits and compensation programs
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on all HR-related matters
- Handle employee relations issues and workplace conflicts
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees
- Design and deliver training and development programs for employees
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Stay current on HR trends and best practices
Requirements:
- BCom Degree: HR Management or related subject field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or mining environment.
- Knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP, HRCI) is a plus
