Job Overview:
The Industrial Relations (IR) Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR and IR teams to ensure smooth handling of industrial relations processes. This role involves managing documentation, scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and assisting with labor law compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of documents related to grievances, disciplinary actions, and hearings.
- Maintain and update employee records related to industrial relations, including warnings and disciplinary actions.
- Schedule and organize meetings for disciplinary hearings, consultations, and dispute resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies by keeping records up to date.
- Provide administrative support during disputes, negotiations, and hearings.
- Draft and prepare correspondence related to industrial relations matters.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure proper documentation storage.
- Assist the IR team with reports and audits related to employee relations and labor practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in industrial relations or HR.
- Knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
