We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HR Manager to lead and manage the human resources and payroll functions within our organization. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in managing CCMA cases, ensuring compliance with South African labour laws, and fostering a positive, legally compliant work environment. You will play an integral part in driving HR strategies, improving employee relations, and overseeing payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of payroll administration, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee salaries, deductions, and benefits.
Manage HR operations, including recruitment, employee onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant South African employment legislation, tax regulations, and company policies.
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's goals and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and manage HR reporting for senior management.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, policies, and procedures.
Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries, addressing any concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Lead and supervise the payroll clerk to ensure accuracy and efficiency in payroll processing.
Represent the company at the CCMA and other relevant forums in the case of disputes, providing the necessary documentation, preparing defences, and ensuring the best possible outcome.
Manage disciplinary actions and grievance procedures in alignment with company policies and labour law requirements.
