OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE Secunda Branch KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: • Manage and comply with Health and Safety (OHS) Legal & Audit requirements • OHS Control and advisory • OHS Employee focused • OHS, vaccination and medication register control • Compliance with OHS protocols and WIS (Working Instructions) • Verification of all OHS documentation such as COID related documentation • Representation at OHS meetings ensuring being updated on all H&S matters • Control and Reconcile Occupational Health Clinic budget • Prepares monthly OHS reports • Maintains OHS Stock control ensuring budgetary requirements are met • Coordinating the occupational health programme, Occupational Health Medical Surveillance • Travel Health Coordination • Limited primary health care KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: • Relevant degree or diploma in General Nursing • Relevant degree or diploma in Occupational Health Nursing • Current registration with South African Nursing Council as Registered Nurse • Current registration with SASOHN • Dispensing Certificate • Certificate in Spirometry • 3-5 years relevant working experience • Computer literacy (MS Office skills) • Knowledge of Compensation Commissioner Procedures • Sound knowledge of relevant statutory legislation • Must be professional and have a sense of urgency towards work Interested applicants should please email a concise CV, certified ID copy, qualifications and proof of SARS registration to ohnp1@ichealth.co.za or stefan@ichealth.co.za and clearly indicate the position applying for.
