Job Responsibilities
As a Trainee Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our tyre service site, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of all tyre-related activities. This role requires leadership skills, technical expertise in tyre maintenance, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on various vehicles, ensuring all work is performed to the highest standards.
- Manage the inventory of tyres, tools, and equipment, ensuring that all necessary resources are available and properly maintained.
- Coordinate with clients, fleet managers, and other stakeholders to schedule and prioritize tyre services.
- Conduct regular inspections of tyres and vehicles to identify any potential safety issues or areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to tyre handling and disposal.
- Train and mentor site staff, providing guidance on best practices and technical procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all tyre services, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
- Monitor site performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in tyre services, maintenance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of tyre types, applications, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to tyre services.
- A relevant certification or qualification in tyre maintenance or automotive services is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license.
