Job Summary
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager for the plastic manufacturing sector. The Maintenance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and smooth production workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the maintenance team and oversee all maintenance activities related to plastic manufacturing equipment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal production uptime.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, coordinating timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production managers to plan and schedule maintenance work.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation to comply with industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment to assess performance and safety standards.
- Manage budgets for maintenance operations, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Lead training and development initiatives for the maintenance team to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends in plastic manufacturing machinery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management in the plastic manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of plastic processing machinery and related maintenance practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing maintenance teams.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
- Proficient in maintenance management software and tools.
