Job Summary
Major international company is looking for an Order Fulfillment Consultant (Planner) with experience in the metal fabrication environment, for their site in Edenvale. Will source, negotiate price and delivery, procure, and expedite goods and services as required and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Annual Remuneration Package: • To R550k ctc (includes salary, medical aid, pension, 13th cheque) Requirements: • Matric • 5 years in a planning environment • Experience in the metal fabrication environment or pipe fitting industry • Basic experience in quality requirements and specifications • MS Office (Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint) • Knowledge of ERP systems • Able to read and understand technical drawings • Good communication skills • Assertiveness • Analytical skills • Work well under pressure • Ability to multi-task Tasks: • Creating production orders • Loading of jobs onto production schedule • Selecting of drawings to send to production • Processing of costing • Understanding of production scheduling • Liaising with engineering re technical matters • When order is released, check stock and thereafter advise purchasing of any outstanding components • Ensuring timeous completion of production goods • Assisting team members/department with additional tasks when load balancing required • Attending daily meetings, departmental • Assisting technical operations team with product costings • Working in a team and as an internal supplier within the overall Supply Chain • Producing and managing Production list and backorder reports daily • Feedback to all relevant departments with respect to orders, costing issues and changes to the delivery of their goods or services Contact Scott on 0117041302
