Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Sales Representative with expertise in polyurethane and rubber products to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by providing technical support and tailored solutions to clients in the manufacturing sector. This role involves managing client relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and delivering product recommendations that meet customers' specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector to expand the customer base.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients.
Technical Support & Product Expertise:
- Provide technical advice on polyurethane and rubber products, explaining benefits, applications, and customization options to clients.
- Assist customers in selecting the best materials and solutions for their needs, considering product performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct product demonstrations, both in person and virtually, to showcase product capabilities and advantages.
Market & Product Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in polyurethane and rubber technologies.
- Gather client feedback and work with internal teams to suggest product improvements or new product development.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to develop customized solutions based on specific client requirements.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
- Track and document all sales activities, including client interactions, deals closed, and follow-up actions.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to annual sales strategies.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and activity reports to the sales manager.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical sales, ideally in polyurethane, rubber, or related manufacturing materials.
- Background in a technical field such as engineering, material science, or a related area is preferred.
- Strong understanding of polyurethane and rubber products, including applications and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way.
- Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer satisfaction.
Remuneration Package:
