Hire Resolve's client, a leading solar energy company based in Cape Town, is seeking a skilled Rooftop Solar Installer to join their team. If you have experience in solar PV installation and a passion for renewable energy, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future.

As a Rooftop Solar Installer, your primary responsibility will be to install solar PV systems on rooftops of residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure the highest level of safety, quality, and efficiency in all installations.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and design PV system configurations based on customer needs and site conditions
• Install solar modules, panels, and support structures according to industry standards and building codes
• Connect and integrate PV systems with electrical components and the electrical grid
• Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with PV systems
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers regarding system operation and maintenance
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while working at heights and with electrical equipment

• Proven experience in solar PV installation, preferably with rooftop systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to work at heights
• Relevant certifications in solar PV installation and safety
