Leading plastics packaging company requires an experienced Injection Mould Setter (PET) for their plant in Cape Town's southern suburbs. Money on offer: - To R21 000 basic +shift allowance +overtime +benefits Responsibilities: - Assisting in achieving production efficiencies of + 80% - Assisting in ensuring that raw material wastage levels are maintained - Setting of machines according to best practices - Conducting mould, label changes and material trials as required - Assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirements - Ensuring that top quality products are produced according to specifications - Making sure that machinery, moulds and change parts are effectively maintained, serviced and stored - Ensuring that company procedures are adhered to - Practicing a high standard of Housekeeping and Safety - Attending to breakdowns/callouts as needed Requirements for position: - Matric or N3 Engineering - 5 years minimum experience in PET production environment - Minimum 5 years experience in injection moulding - Self-adhesive label experience advantageous - Mechanical aptitude - Strong communication skills Contact Scott on 0117041302
