Job Summary
You are an expert in locating and solving malfunctions in installations. In addition, you are involved in maintenance stops and new construction projects. In short, you have a versatile function! Depending on the size of the job, you work independently or in a team. You check equipment, such as flowmeters, pressure transmitters and temperature indicators. Are the instruments calibrated? Do they need to be replaced? Are the settings correct, or is a repair necessary? You have the answer to all these questions. You then carry out the necessary action and take care of the administrative processing of test sheets, for example. You work according to a schedule and take into account the applicable safety regulations.
Requirements
- Level 3 or 4 electrical engineering or NQF 4 Instrument Technician
- Measurement and control technology course, or willingness to take this course
- Proficiency in Afrikaans and English
- You are curious and eager to learn
- You can work well under time pressure
