Final Assembly Production Manager – Marine Industry Knysna, WC Market Related Salary We are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Final Assembly Production Manager to lead the assembly, production, and technical quality of boats and marine equipment. In this exciting role, you’ll oversee the entire final assembly process, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll work in a dynamic environment, split between the office, manufacturing floor, and boatyard. There will also be occasional travel to suppliers, clients, or trade shows, and exposure to outdoor conditions and marine environments. If you have a passion for the boating industry and a strong background in production management, we want to hear from you! Requirements Diploma in Project, Production, or Operations Management Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering background is a plus 5+ years’ experience in boat manufacturing or a similar industry Strong knowledge of boat construction, materials, and systems Familiarity with CAD software, production scheduling tools, and quality control systems Proven leadership and team management skills Solid problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities Knowledge of marine safety and environmental regulations Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP) Experience with lean manufacturing principles Hands-on experience with fiberglass, aluminum, or composite boat building.Error!
