Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our client's team based in Guinea. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing engineering construction projects in the region. You will work closely with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery. This will involve planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities, managing resources, monitoring project progress, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion
- Create project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate and collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams
- Monitor and ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards
- Manage and allocate resources effectively
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide regular updates and reports to key stakeholders
- Manage and resolve any conflicts or disputes that arise during construction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management
- Experience in engineering construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Fluency in English and French
- Willingness to work and travel to Guinea
