Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a background in e-learning or education to join their dynamic team in Durban, KZN. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing IT projects, implementing IT tools and methodologies, and possess technical proficiencies relevant to managing IT Projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or roadblocks that may arise
- Utilize IT tools and methodologies such as Agile and Scrum to effectively manage project development
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or feedback as needed
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate project success and determine areas for improvement for future projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT project management
- Background in e-learning or education preferred
- Proficiency in IT tools and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
- Strong technical skills with a good understanding of IT systems and software development
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
