Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Used Car Manager for a car dealership. As a Used Car Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the used car department, managing the inventory, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the buying and selling of used cars, setting pricing strategies, managing the appraisal process, and overseeing the reconditioning of vehicles. You will also be responsible for managing the sales team, setting sales targets, and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Oversee and manage the daily operations of the used car department, including a team of sales executives, appraisers, and administrative staff.
- Sales Performance: Drive sales performance by setting clear objectives, developing sales strategies, and ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
- Inventory Management: Manage the acquisition, pricing, and presentation of used vehicles to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure a high turnover rate.
- Customer Service: Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering an exceptional buying experience, handling customer inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Financial Accountability: Monitor and manage the department’s budget, profitability, and financial performance, including pricing strategies and cost control.
- Market Analysis: Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to make informed decisions on inventory and pricing.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all vehicles and sales processes comply with BMW standards, as well as legal and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Used Car Manager
- Proven track record of success in the used car market
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyse market trends and set pricing strategies
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and automotive software
- Valid driver's license
