Quality Controller

Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Controller to join their dynamic team. Individuals who meet the below minimum requirements are invited to apply

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Quality Controller in a food or beverage manufacturing environment, preferably in brewing
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
• Proficiency in using lab equipment and quality control software
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to beer production
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Work in a production environment with exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, and other manufacturing conditions
• Drivers licence

Duties will include:

• Conduct regular inspections and tests of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality standards
• Monitor and assess the production processes, identifying and addressing any deviations from quality standards
• Implement and maintain quality control systems, including documentation and record-keeping
• Collaborate with production and brewing teams to identify and resolve quality issues
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Develop and update quality control procedures and protocols as needed
• Train production staff on quality control processes and best practices
• Prepare detailed reports on quality findings and recommend corrective actions
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure that corrective actions are implemented promptly
• Assist the Production team with daily quality checks
