About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have strong financial expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage accounting functions efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a dynamic company. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports • Oversee book keeping, month-end and year-end closing processes • Ensure compliance with South African Companies Act and tax regulations • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning • Supervise and support junior accounting staff • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions • Implement and improve internal financial controls • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, or SAIPA) preferred • Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance • Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, SAP, QuickBooks, or Xero) • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Why Join Us? • Competitive salary and benefits package • Growth and career development opportunities • A collaborative and supportive work environment.Error!
