- Operating forklifts to move materials around the facility or worksite
- Ensuring efficient and safe transportation of materials and products
- Inspecting forklifts for safety and maintenance needs and reporting any issues or damages
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
- Checking loads are secure and properly distributed
- Stacking empty pallets and reorganizing the storage areas
- Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the forklift’s battery and lubricating equipment
- Using equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
- Adhering to safety procedures and standards at all times
- Recording daily production logs and equipment inspection reports
HYDRAULIC TECH DUTIES
- Inspect and diagnose issues with hydraulic systems and components
- Perform regular maintenance on hydraulic systems to prevent breakdowns
- Repair or replace defective hydraulic parts
- Assemble and install hydraulic systems on machinery and equipment
- Test the performance of hydraulic systems and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Use hand tools and specialized hydraulic testing equipment
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures
- Provide consultation and advice on maintenance and preventative measures
- Coordinate with other team members to complete projects and tasks
DIESEL MACHENIC DUTIES
- Performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to find faults.
- Analyzing diagnostic test results.
- Repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking, or lighting system components.
- Performing routine tasks such as changing oil and filters.
- Diagnosing and repairing issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Performing welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment.
- Preparing work orders and ordering parts.
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
