We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, with a keen interest in optimizing financial operations within the logistics sector. 1.1.2. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and variance analysis to drive optimal resource allocation.
• Oversee tax compliance and coordinate audits to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiencies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in adherence to company policies and standard practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems and practices, ensuring alignment with the company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

1.1.3. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting designation (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within the logistics or transportation industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Quickbooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Advanced Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, with a collaborative spirit to build relationships with team members and stakeholders.
