Hiring: Our client a logistics company based in Roodepoort is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their growing team (AIRFREIGHT LOGISTICS)
Duties & Responsibilities
Sourcing:
o Find and onboard new customers.
o Conduct telesales and virtual meetings.
• Opportunity Identification:
o Identify additional services to offer to existing clients.
o Create cost effective solutions for all customers.
o Expand services with each client and secure new business inquiries.
o Secure Business
• Onboarding:
o Send necessary documentation to new clients.
o Follow up to complete the onboarding process.
• Pricing:
o Provide quotes and negotiate the highest possible prices.
o Follow up on quotes and extend or increase rates as needed.
• Administration:
o Open customer files and send SOPs.
o Maintain an organized database and keep rates updated.
o Update enquiry sheets and client frequency lists.
o Remind the sales team of follow-up actions and manage appointments.
o Serve as a liaison between external sales, procurement, and customers.
o Manage customer KPIs.
• Relationship Management:
o Maintain and build strong relationships with customers.
o Foster trust in the LSS brand.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum 2-3 years sales experience in a logistics/freight environment
Airfreight sales experience
2 years experience in a similar role
Matric
SALARY: R25 000 - depending on experience
