Job Summary
As a Telematics Fleet Support Agent, you’ll play a critical role in supporting client fleets and ensuring smooth daily operations. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing user support and training for new and existing clients.
• Setting up and maintaining the telematics user environment with a focus on enhancing user experience.
• Engaging with clients through various communication channels to understand their business risks & operational needs, spot opportunities & upsell.
• Applying existing or emerging technology solutions to enhance client operations, improve efficiency, reduce risks, and add value.
• Creating tailored solutions, including quotes and presentations, based on a deep understanding of our technology and client requirements.
• Generating actionable insights from telematics data using tools like Excel, Power BI, Google Sheets, Looker Studio, MySQL, SQL, and other analytics platforms.
• Running, training and overseeing the daily device health checks and collaborating with the technical team to ensure hardware and software uptime.
• Configuring vehicles, drivers, alerts, and reports within the telematics environment and backend systems.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting advanced hardware and software features.
• Engaging and collaborating with OEMs, upstream service providers, and developers from diverse cultural backgrounds across Africa and abroad.
• Knowledge of APIs, Python scripts, generative AI, and integrations is a plus.
