Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Service Advisor for their client based in Pinetown. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and coordinating the maintenance and repair services for vehicles.
As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of the service department. You will work closely with customers, mechanics, and suppliers to schedule appointments, provide estimates, and ensure timely completion of repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and determine their service needs
- Provide cost estimates and explanations of repairs to customers
- Schedule service appointments and allocate work to mechanics
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs
- Manage customer communication and provide regular updates
- Process service orders, invoices, and payments
- Maintain accurate records of customer and vehicle information
- Address and resolve customer complaints or issues
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure availability of parts and materials
- Ensure adherence to company and industry safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer software for service order processing
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others
- Valid driver's license
- Preferably reside in or near Pinetown
- Salary: negotiable
