SERVICE DEPT MANAGER (Brand Supermarket)
East Rand - Gauteng
Salary: R15,000 - R19,000
The role involves ensuring efficient and positive customer service, while also managing the department's operations and staff to maximize sales and profitability. This includes tasks like maintaining inventory, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring food safety compliance. also play a crucial role in staff management, training, and performance evaluation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric Certificate.
- Min 2-3 years of Experience with SPAR retail or supermarket operations with leadership skills.
- Customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
- Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems.
- Own Transport, Valid Driver's License.
- Experience in departments. Namely: Fruit and Veg, Bakery, Butchery, and Hot Foods
- Knowledge of numeric G.P’s, and KPI.
DUTIES:
- Budgets being maintained
- Costings checking and calculations
- The ordering process and when needed.
- Production schedules are adherent.
- Managing staff, department and floor.
- Safety maintenance for customers and staff.
