Job Summary
Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial and Tax Law Attorney to join a prestigious law firm's Commercial Litigation Department. This is a unique opportunity for a legal professional with a strong background in commercial and tax law to contribute to high-stakes cases and complex legal matters. As part of the Commercial Litigation team, you will play a pivotal role in advising and representing clients in a wide range of commercial disputes, ensuring their interests are protected and legal challenges are expertly navigated.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of highly skilled legal professionals to devise and implement effective solutions.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and briefs for cases in the High Court and Tax Court.
- Track and report on fee-generating activities, working proactively to meet and surpass set performance goals.
- Provide expert legal counsel in the areas of Commercial Law and Tax Litigation.
- Demonstrate independent excellence by consistently delivering high-quality, efficient, and timely services to clients.
- Conduct thorough research to stay informed on industry trends and regulatory updates, ensuring our legal practices remain cutting-edge.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from an accredited institution.
- Admitted Attorney of the High Court, in good standing with the Legal Practice Council.
- At least 7 years of post-article experience with a strong background in Commercial Law and Tax Litigation.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, with sharp analytical abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in electronic legal tools and software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a proven ability to manage complex legal matters and lead projects effectively.
