Requirements:
General
- Must have excellent knowledge of investment products
- Preference for investment management, financial planning, accounting, tax or CFP
- At least 2+ years’ experience in a financial services environment
- Knowledge of the financial services industry
- FAIS and FICA knowledge
- Professional verbal and written skills
- Drivers licence and own vehicle
- This role requires an ambitious graduate professional who is eager and ambitious for a career in the financial planning industry – either specializing in client services or financial planning

Responsibilities:
Administration
- Follow up on various instructions with internal and external stakeholders
- Phone clients to request documents and schedule meetings
- Attend to client queries
- Draft and post quarterly reports
- Prepare documentation for client meetings
- Complete forms and liaise with clients for signing of documents and requesting any outstanding requirements
- Compile investment proposals
- Complete all documentation, mandates and applications forms
- Submit various instructions
- Track and monitor instructions: new business, ad hoc top ups, withdrawals, switches, maturities, income benefit , income change and section 37 and section 14 transfers
- Manage the diary of the financial advisor by scheduling appointments or follow up meetings with clients.
- Generate and structure agenda for minutes of meeting and execute or monitor the actions that need to be taken on the conclusion of the meeting.
- Ensure that legal and estate planning documents are compliant
- Constantly update FICA and FAIS
Greater Office Contribution
- Attending annual client presentations and other advice-related events.
- General office management tasks including reception, facilities, diary management, stationery management etc.
