Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join our team aboard a DP 2 AHTS vessel. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in offshore logistics and a strong background in maintaining and operating electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems on DP 2 vessels. You will be a critical part of the team, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and functionality of all onboard systems that support anchor handling, towing, and supply operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- System Monitoring & Maintenance: Operate and monitor the DP 2 dynamic positioning system, electrical, and automation systems, ensuring their optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Quickly identify and resolve technical issues in the electrical, control, and instrumentation systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe and effective vessel operations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all relevant HSE regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment onboard the vessel at all times.
- Operational Support: Support the crew and operations team during anchor handling, towing, and supply activities, ensuring vessel systems are operating smoothly and efficiently.
- System Upgrades & Improvements: Participate in system upgrades and contribute to continuous improvements in vessel operations and efficiency.
- Data Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical work, repairs, and system performance reports for future reference and compliance audits.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Master, Chief Engineer, and offshore crew to ensure optimal performance and safe operation of all onboard systems.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years working as an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) on DP 2 AHTS vessels or similar offshore vessels. Prior experience in offshore logistics is highly desirable.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with DP 2 systems, electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems found on AHTS vessels.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as STCW (Electro-Technical Officer), DP Maintenance, Offshore Survival (BOSIET/FOET), and HSE training are essential.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with offshore teams and report issues efficiently.
- Physical & Mental Stamina: Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, particularly in offshore environments with extended rotations.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to monitor systems and prevent potential operational failures.
