A leading provider of analytical instruments is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team. This position is based in Johannesburg, Woodmead. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle. It includes: A market-related salary, Car allowance, Mobile phone allowance, Laptop, Petrol card

Requirements:

• NDip (N6/S4) in Instrumentation/Related field
• Min 2 years' experience in field service, particularly in servicing analytical instruments
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM Software (Microsoft Dynamics CE is an advantage)
• Reliable vehicle for business use
• Valid driver's license
• Chemistry knowledge will be an advantage
• Highly organized with good time-management and communication skills
• Clear criminal record and medically fit

Duties:

• Repair, and maintain analytical equipment at client locations.
• Provide technical support via phone, email, and in-person.
• Accurately document service activities, keeping service records up-to-date.
• Travel across various regions to provide service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and manage service-related quotations and follow-ups.
• Update customer information and service records in Microsoft Dynamics CE.
