Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy Social Media Content Creator to manage and enhance our business's online presence within the IT and software applications industry. The ideal candidate will craft engaging content, develop effective campaigns, and ensure consistency across our social media platforms, aligning with the company’s objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Content Creation:
- Develop high-quality, engaging, and industry-relevant content, including:
- Social media posts
- Industry updates and trends
- Promotional and bulk posts
- Social Media Management:
- Manage the day-to-day handling of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) tailored to B2B audiences.
- Schedule and monitor bulk posts using social media tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite).
- Engage with the audience through comments, messages, and interactive posts.
- Market Trends & Insights:
- Research and stay updated on trends, innovations, and developments within the IT and software applications industry.
- Use insights to guide content creation and campaign strategies.
- Content Planning & Strategy:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with marketing goals.
- Create monthly content calendars ensuring timely delivery and consistency.
- Suggest strategies to improve engagement, reach, and conversions.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyse performance metrics (engagement rates, reach, impressions, etc.).
- Prepare reports and provide recommendations to optimize campaigns and content.
- Brand Voice & Consistency:
- Maintain a consistent tone, style, and voice that aligns with the company’s branding.
- Ensure compliance with branding guidelines across all content.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Growth in social media followers and engagement rates.
- Increased traffic from social media to business pages or campaigns.
- Successful implementation of monthly content plans.
- Timely delivery of all posts, updates, and campaigns.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator or similar role, ideally in IT or software industries.
- Familiarity with B2B content marketing and audience engagement.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Buffer, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Basic understanding of SEO and content optimization.
- Knowledge of IT/software-related terminology and concepts is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce visually appealing content.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
