LOCUM SKIN CARE ADVISOR - for a fixed term contract
JOB SUMMARY: You will be responsible for operating the till, processing transactions, and ensuring that our customers receive seamless service. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a retail environment, loves customer interaction, and has a passion for beauty and wellness.

PERIOD REQUIRED: 01 May 2025 - 31 May 2025 (one month fixed term employment)
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Monday - Sunday
- SHIFTS 09:00am - 18:00pm | 10:00am - 19:00pm | 11:00am - 20:00pm
- You will be assigned pre-scheduled shifts and days off for the month
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Fixed Term / 1-month contract
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R6,500 - R8,000 (Based on highest qualification obtained)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- ITEC / SAAHSP or internationally recognized accreditation
- DIPLOMA Beauty Specialist or similar Level 2 qualification
- Beautifully groomed, manicured and presentable
- Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care and ingredients
EXPERIENCE:
- Retail experience is beneficial
- Salon experience is beneficial
- Receptionist or hosting experience (Dealing with cash up etc.)
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional service to returning or repeat customers who already know what they want. Assist them in selecting products, answering any quick queries, and ensuring they have a smooth shopping experience.
- Till Operation: Manage the till, handle transactions accurately, as well as returns
- Support to Somatologist: Assist the Somatologists in preparing the store, ensuring that they have everything needed for consultations and treatments.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of the products on offer, being able to briefly explain the benefits to customers or offer recommendations based on their preferences.
- Customer Relationship Management: Foster positive relationships with repeat customers by providing personalized attention and ensuring they feel valued.
- Store Presentation: Help keep the store neat, tidy, and well-organized by ensuring product displays are attractive and that shelves are stocked appropriately.
- Sales Targets: Contribute to achieving store sales goals by assisting in upselling and promoting products to returning customers.
- Inventory Support: Assist with stock replenishment and organization, ensuring that products are properly displayed and within easy reach of customers.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Somatologists and the rest of the retail team to maintain a professional, customer-centric environment and to deliver excellent service.
