Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Database Administrator (DBA) with 6-10 years of experience to join a dynamic team in a hybrid role. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL replication expertise and a proven ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment. This role is primarily remote, with occasional on-site work as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain SQL databases to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement and support SQL Transactional and Merge Replication for data consistency across databases.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries for efficiency.
- Conduct database backups, recovery, and perform regular maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with development teams to support database changes and updates.
- Uphold data security and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Contribute to database design, architecture planning, and capacity management.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of proven experience as a DBA, with a focus on SQL replication (Transactional and Merge).
- Strong expertise in SQL Server and database administration best practices.
- Proficiency in performance tuning, query optimization, and analysis.
- Solid understanding of disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Ability to work independently within a remote team environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
