Job description:
Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the organization's systems and network to prevent unauthorized access and avoid data breaches. This position involves strategic planning, project management, team leadership, and ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of the network and security infrastructure. Responsibilities
•
Design, Install, configure, and support network and security equipment, including Firewall, Switches, Wireless access controller, IP Telephony from a wide range of leading vendors.
•
Creating and overseeing security measures such as access authentication and privilege matrix.
•
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
•
Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
•
Implement proactive monitoring and maintenance practices to prevent downtime and minimize disruptions to business operations.
•
Conduct regular assessments and audits of network infrastructure components, identifying and addressing any issues or vulnerabilities.
•
Documenting network setup, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
•
Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization's infrastructure assets and data.
•
Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential risks.
•
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to infrastructure security and data privacy.
Project Management and Implementation:
•
Plan, coordinate, and execute infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server migrations, and data center expansions.
•
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project requirements, mitigate risks, and resolve technical challenges.
•
Assist in preparing status reports and deliveries/presentations on network design and analysis progress to colleagues, subordinates, and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
•
Experience in industry leading products Such as Cisco, Palo alto, FortiGate, Meraki, Aruba, Avaya, Alcatel-Lucent etc....
•
Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, CCDP).
•
Solid background in network and network security administration and architecture.
•
In-depth understanding of communication protocols and routing protocols.
•
Familiarity with access control models and network security.
•
Experience in IP telephony products like Cisco, Avaya, Alcatel.
•
Experience in web proxy products like Netskope and Zscaler.
•
Experience in Vulnerability assessment tools like Qualys.
•
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix network tools).
•
Sharp troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.

Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Hypervisor and VMware infrastructure.
•
Knowledge and experience in industry standard compliance framework such as ISO27001.
•
Knowledge and experience in Next Generation Antivirus.
•
Knowledge and experience in Office365 and Microsoft Azure.

Knowledge and experience in servers and storage’s (Design and configurations). Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
