Job Title: Procurement Operations Coordinator (E-Commerce)
Location: Wynburg, JHB
Salary: R12,000 - R16,000 (Depending on Exp.)
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement
- Oversee product procurement, ensuring timely orders, quality control, and cost efficiency.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to secure competitive rates and ensure timely deliveries.
Administration
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations across departments.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain stock availability.
- Keep accurate records of purchase orders, supplier invoices, and essential documents.
Routing and Logistics
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for timely shipping and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with delivery teams and third-party logistics providers to manage and track shipments.
- Ensure shipping schedules align with customer expectations and platform requirements.
Ad-Hoc Projects
- Coordinate and execute various ad-hoc projects within deadlines and budget constraints.
- Provide cross-functional support to other teams, such as marketing and customer service, as needed.
E-commerce Platform Management
- Work with the team to list products on platforms like Makro, Amazon, Leroy, and Takealot, ensuring listings are accurate and optimized.
- Monitor and report on the performance of listings, addressing issues related to stock, delivery, or returns.
- Adhere to each platform's operational processes to ensure smooth fulfillment and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in procurement, administration, logistics, and e-commerce operations.
- Experience with Makro, Amazon, Leroy, and Takealot is required; familiarity with other e-commerce platforms is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with procurement software or e-commerce management tools.
- Experience in inventory management and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
