Online IEB/SACAI FET Life Orientation
This is a full-time 5 days a week position

They are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Life Orientation Teacher
The ideal candidate will have experience with the IEB curriculum and will be responsible for guiding students through engaging learning opportunities, delivering the required curriculum, and fostering a positive online classroom environment.
Own laptop and good wifi. ESSENTIAL
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality, engaging Life Oreintation lessons to students in an online format.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that leverage technology to enhance learning.
• Create and manage online course materials, including lesson plans, assignments and assessments.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support to ensure academic success.
• Facilitate interactive and collaborative learning experiences through virtual platforms.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in Life Orientation education and online teaching methodologies.
• Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
• BED degree or undergrad with relevant PGCE
• SACE registration is essential
• Experience with the IEB and/or SACAI curriculum is highly advantageous.
Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using online teaching platforms and technology.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Innovative and adaptable to changes in the curriculum and teaching methods
