Job Summary
As a z/OS Systems Programmer, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of IBM z/OS mainframe systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our organization’s mainframe environment.
Responsibilities
• Installation, configuration, maintenance, customization and upgrades of zOS environments.
• Communicate the business impact of major incidents.
• Diagnose zOS system and related product issues and follow up with root cause analysis.
• Providing support for z/OS operating system.
• Prioritize major incidents based on business impact to the client.
• Provide assistance with identifying problem management trends.
Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience in z/OS system programming.
• Experience in z/OS security (Top Secret).
• Experience working on JCL, REXX.
• Experience in working with z/OS subsystems (CICS, IMS, MVS, DB2, MQ, JES).
• Working knowledge of z/OS, Unix System Services, SMP/E, REXX, Java, VSAM, Third party products.
• Experience in mainframe storage solutions and database technologies including ISAM, VSAM, IMS, DB2.
