Job Summary
We’re looking for a real heavy hitter – a high-performing, all-in-one Tech Sales professional with deep technical understanding and the ability to drive significant revenue growth. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is not only adept at building relationships and managing client accounts but also has the technical expertise to engage and sell complex solutions. You’ll be instrumental in identifying, nurturing, and closing large deals across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell, Sell, Sell: Drive new business and expand existing relationships by selling our full range of technology products and solutions to C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our products, services, and technical solutions to present complex offerings in an accessible and compelling manner.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, qualify, and engage with potential clients to build a solid pipeline of opportunities. Leverage market research, social selling, and industry connections to uncover new business.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term relationships with prospects and existing customers, providing outstanding customer service, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Negotiation: Lead high-stakes negotiations and work closely with prospects to identify solutions that meet their needs while ensuring a win-win outcome for both parties.
- Technical Presentations & Demos: Deliver persuasive presentations, product demos, and technical workshops that showcase the value and capabilities of our solutions.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas and KPIs. Own your numbers and be accountable for driving success.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure you have the latest information and support needed to close deals effectively.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to position the company’s solutions effectively.
Skills & Experience:
- Sales Experience: Proven success in a high-performance, quota-carrying tech sales role (5+ years). Strong background in selling complex solutions and services to enterprise-level clients.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of technology (e.g., software, hardware, cloud computing, SaaS, cybersecurity, AI, etc.). Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and explain them in business terms.
- Sales Process Mastery: Expertise in full sales cycle management, from lead generation to closing and post-sale relationship management.
- Track Record of Success: Consistent history of overachieving sales targets and driving revenue in a highly competitive market.
- Negotiation Skills: Comfortable negotiating at the executive level and closing multi-million-dollar deals.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex ideas to a variety of stakeholders.
- Self-Starter: Proactive, driven, and able to work independently while contributing to the overall success of the team.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build trust quickly and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tertiary Qualification in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with specific technologies (e.g., cloud, AI, SaaS, enterprise software) is a plus.
- Strong network and established relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
