We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager with strong organizational design experience. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing complex transitions, particularly in the Financial Services (FS)/ Investment experience and a strong understanding of operating model design, in-sourcing strategies, and organizational restructuring.
Please note this a 6 month contract position, hybrid based in Cape Town.
What you’ll do:
· Lead the end-to-end transition of roles and responsibilities from a third-party provider to an internal team
· Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage timelines, deliverables, and dependencies during the transition.
· Ensure that knowledge transfer from the third-party provider is executed efficiently, safeguarding continuity of service and minimizing disruption.
· Design and implement the new operating model, working with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
· Oversee the restructuring of internal teams to integrate in-sourced roles effectively.
· Ensure the new operating model is scalable, sustainable, and aligned with best practices in both Financial Services and Technology.
· Manage communication with internal stakeholders, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the transition process.
· Proactively identify risks and challenges related to the in-sourcing and restructuring process, and develop mitigation plans to address them.
· Ensure that any issues or roadblocks are resolved in a timely manner to avoid delays in the transition.
