Job Summary
A company in Ottery, Cape Town is looking for a Marketing Manager/Senior.
As the Marketing senior you will lead the company's marketing strategy, building brand awareness, generating demand, and positioning the company as a top-tier learning solutions provider. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, making it ideal for a marketing professional with a proven track record in the education or e-learning industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Leadership:
- Develop and execute the company’s marketing strategy, aligning with the company’s growth objectives and business goals.
- Define and refine our unique value proposition, positioning the company as an industry leader in digital learning solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for differentiation.
- Brand Development & Positioning:
- Strengthen and evolve the company brand, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
- Build awareness and trust through thought leadership, content marketing, and strategic storytelling that resonate with our target audiences.
- Oversee the creation of engaging, impactful marketing materials, including case studies, whitepapers, video content, and digital assets.
- Demand Generation & Lead Acquisition:
- Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and nurture potential clients.
- Leverage digital marketing tactics, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing, to maximize visibility and engagement.
- Develop and manage an inbound marketing strategy, optimizing our website and digital touchpoints to attract and convert leads.
- Content & Communication Strategy:
- Oversee the development of content that communicates company's expertise, including blog posts, newsletters, and webinars.
- Manage PR efforts and media relationships to secure press coverage and build company’s reputation as a trusted learning solutions provider.
- Work closely with the sales team to align messaging and support sales initiatives through targeted campaigns and materials.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to ensure the team’s growth and success.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking:
- Set measurable goals for marketing campaigns, tracking performance through KPIs and metrics.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continuously optimize marketing efforts and improve ROI.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and areas for growth.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Must have Grade 12
- Relevant Marketing Degree
- Training / Development background is beneficial
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Experience with bringing in new clients
