Job Summary
As the Head of Brand and Product, you will oversee the strategic development and execution of both our brand and product strategies. You will be responsible for defining and evolving our brand identity, positioning, and messaging while also driving the innovation, development, and market success of our product portfolio. This is a senior leadership role, and you’ll work closely with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to create cohesive, customer-centric brand experiences and products that deliver long-term value and growth.
Key Responsibilities:Brand Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s brand vision, positioning, and messaging across all channels and customer touchpoints.
- Create and maintain a cohesive and compelling brand identity that resonates with target audiences and differentiates us in the marketplace.
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to strengthen brand awareness, customer loyalty, and brand equity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including marketing, sales, and customer service) to ensure the brand vision is reflected consistently across every aspect of the customer journey.
Product Strategy & Innovation
- Define the product roadmap and vision in alignment with customer needs, market opportunities, and the company’s overall business objectives.
- Drive the innovation and development of new products from ideation through to launch, working closely with design, engineering, and other teams to bring products to market.
- Oversee product lifecycle management, including the optimization of existing products and the introduction of new features or variations to meet customer demands.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer insights to inform product strategy and decision-making.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of brand and product managers, designers, and marketers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, working closely with teams across marketing, sales, operations, and technology to drive success.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, to communicate brand and product strategies and ensure alignment with broader company goals.
Performance & Metrics
- Set clear KPIs to measure the effectiveness of brand and product initiatives and report on performance regularly to senior leadership.
- Analyze market trends, product performance, and brand health metrics to continuously optimize strategies.
- Ensure alignment between brand and product metrics to achieve business growth and profitability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in brand management, product management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in [industry] is a plus.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of developing and executing brand and product strategies that drive growth and market differentiation.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing key stakeholders.
- Creative & Analytical: A blend of creativity and analytical thinking to balance innovative brand development with data-driven product strategy.
- Excellent Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling brand narratives and product stories.
- Customer-Centric: A deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and trends, with the ability to translate this into actionable brand and product strategies.
- Education: A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
