Job Summary
Role description:
Your primary responsibilities will include supporting and enhancing our CargoWise platform and driving continuous process improvement. You will troubleshoot and assist the team with CargoWise One (CW1) and various software and hardware issues as needed. As the Business Process Executive, you will manage all aspects of CargoWise, reporting directly to the CEO based in Canada
Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 and Tertiary Qualification within Logistics / Supply Chain / Transportation - advantageous
- Certified CargoWise Professional – NON-NEGOTIABLE
- Minimum 5 years experience working with CargoWise / Wisetech in an IT support role.
- Working knowledge of Workflow, Events, Milestones, Tasks, and Triggers and how to create and edit them.
- Working knowledge of Document edits on CargoWise
- Working knowledge of troubleshooting EDI and API transmissions from CargoWise with 3rd party software and customs
- Working with the CargoWise Registry in setting and improving the responsiveness of the system as well as maintaining the highest security standards at all times
- Reliable, Punctual, and a great Communicator is essential for the role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities (4+ years):
- Processing and answering all the basic CW1 tickets opened by the company team and offering the best solutions for each ticket by researching CW1 guidelines.
- Continuously improve the CW1 workflow automation across global offices.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot other CW1 automation programs including but not limited to Online Tracking, EDIs with 3rd parties, Mobile App, etc.
- Troubleshoot and assist the Team with their CW1 and Software / Hardware issues if any.
- Work closely with other departments to make the automation and IT matters go smoothly.
- Manage and generate automated reports for management from CW1.
- Manage CW1 groups and staff access to each module under the strict guidelines set by Directors.
- Proactively manage our relationship with CargoWise and our monthly invoices and advise where we can make savings.
