QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Min 1 year experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Azure
8+ years SAP Basis experience
SAP BW4/HANA (HA200) knowledge – practical system knowledge of at least 3 years.
8+ Years knowledge & experience with SAP ABAP and JAVA based systems on NetWeaver release.
8+ Years knowledge & experience with SAP Backups.
Good Knowledge of Linux file Systems, Linux commands & scripting.
Good Understanding of Networks, Firewalls & Ports.
Knowledge & Experience with Apache Tomcat and Apache httpd
Experience with SAP system health checks, dump/trace analysis and monitoring tools.
Understanding and application of standard ITPM framework.
Experience across all SAP modules (advantage)
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
2nd and 3rd level support for incidents (troubleshooting and resolving)
Action and resolve IM (Incident Management) tickets as required.
Raise and lead tasks PM (Problem Management) tickets as identified.
Action and coordinate CM (Change Management) tasks and tickets as required.
Create and update management and technical documents in Confluence.
Standby, shift work and public holiday work required
Support with Go Live preparation and support during Go Live (could be on weekends, late evenings)
Support DevOps teams with issues
Planning, creation and updating of epics and user stories in JIRA for sprints.
Update Resolve IT
Projects
Ensure that all processes have been investigated / considered in obtaining the specifications of the user requirements.
Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives in line with Group standards.
Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
Preparation of system/technical documentation/Master Solutions/Operations Handbooks (as per ISO standards)
