About the role
Software development intern provides support and troubleshooting of legacy technology solutions as well as scripting, test automation, and test tools.
Responsibilities
- Developing & debugging test tools
- Learn and use various software development tools for IT
- Working knowledge of telecommunications products will help.
- Implement entire stories or subset of tasks or fix defects as part of an agile development team
- Help maintain debug and monitor warehousing platforms and improve scalability
- Help maintain debug and monitor wholesale platform to help usability and functionality
- Help Improve automation in the company between various tasks to improve efficiency
- Learn critical functional areas in HMH ISG product lines
- Edit, modify, and debug software products in accordance with software architecture specifications and internal procedures
- Qualification in IT.
- Strong Written and Verbal skills to communicate with clarity and. brevity to other professionals, including software developers, and programs. managers, product managers, and business analysts.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Sound problem-solving abilities.
- Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
- South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
